All registered participants have the opportunity to audition for a particular role if desired.

There is one rehearsal weekend prior to auditions, to get familiar with the production before making an audition commitment.

Auditions are held on Saturday the following weekend. The artistic team will then call back a list of performers for a secondary audition on Sunday “Call Backs”.

From there, a show cast list will be posted the following Wednesday. Show rehearsals for all performers begin the following weekend.

AUDITION PREP

SATURDAY — AUDITION DAY
The audition process is organized into 15 minutes sections. Five participants will sing their audition piece in each section.

To achieve your best audition:
— Wear comfortable clothes.
— Stand tall.
— Take a deep breath before you begin.
— Relax and be yourself.
— Sing big, as if you are already on stage.

At the end of the day Saturday, a selection of participants will be asked to come back the next day for Call Back Audition. An RCTC representative will call each participant that is invited to the next stage of auditions. They will be requested to return on Sunday at a given time.

SUNDAY — CALL BACKS
The Sunday call back audition process is organized by time sections. Participants will be asked to dance and sing for various parts. Participants will be dismissed throughout the process.

The official cast list will be released on the website and BAND App the following Thursday.
